So, today I came home from my SEO Optimization Specialist job. I began to search craigslist and realized how grossly underpaid someone with a first degree and who has a solid online marketing/SEO background is. Well, NOT to mention if they have had years of teaching advanced Mathematics!
Yet, I realize that if it helps me to be flexible enough to allow me to acheive my community related work of teaching persons how to enhance their lives and transform through personal development, then by George it’s worth the sacrifice!
Another idea, came to mind. Everett/Mukilteo area has been a good destination for seniors who wish to relocate. The environment is beautiful and the pace is pretty slow (or maybe it’s the island side of me wishfully thinking this is so). In addition, we have great hospitals, such as Providence.
So, here’s my idea, use my desire to continue helping the community and have seniors as my niche. Teach them something. Teach them how to handle basic communication via the internet. This would be a proud moment for them. In addition, it’s pretty easy for me to build them a website in the form of a blog. Ths they can communicate with loved ones via this forum.
Even better, what about those at Providence or other hospitals who just have a strong aversion to talking about the latest pain and annoying relatives? Well, that’s where their blogging would be helpful, and it all can be done without, charge, just by donation.
