Hispanic Superstar Thrills Everett Crowd
Juan Gabriel, who performed Sunday night at the Everett Events Center, is the Elvis of Spanish popular music.
Gabriel, a composer, singer and personality well known in the Hispanic music world, brought his 35th anniversary tour, “Thank You for Singing My Songs,” to Everett for a 21/2-hour concert before an almost-sold-out crowd of enthusiastic fans.

Jazz Night at the Flying Pig to Benefit Cancer
Come out and enjoy an evening of great entertainment at the 2nd annual Relay For Life of Everett Jazz Night at the Flying Pig in Everett on Thursday May 4. Back by popular demand, this pre-Relay publicity and fundraising event will begin at 6:00 p.m. at the Flying Pig Brewing Compant in Everett and will include the live music of Larry Prigg’s Resurrected Swing beginning at 6:30 p.m. Donations will be taken at the door and portion of the proceeds from the event will add to fundraising efforts already underway for the American Cancer Society Relay For Life of Everett. Relay For Life represents the hope that those lost to cancer will never be forgotten, that those who face cancer will be supported, and that one day cancer will be eliminated. Your involvement with Relay For Life supports lifesaving American Cancer Society programs and services. This year’s Relay will take place from 12:00 pm on June 3rd until 8:00 am on June 4th at Evergreen Middle School in Everett.
